Brandy and James Barchanowicz are a generous and loving couple that reside in Dinwiddie, Virginia. They are always wanting to do for others and we feel its time for us to step in and do for them. When they decided to start a family, from the beginning they encountered a bumpy road but eventually God blessed them with sweet twin boys... Dean William and Waylon Grey. At week 17 of her pregnancy Brandy was put on strict bed rest due to pregnancy complications. Thats where she was for the next 7 weeks; weekly doctor appointments, eating healthy foods getting lots of rest and most importantly keeping hydrated for those boys. Doctors planned for Brandy to check into Saint Mary's Hospital at 25 weeks to spend the remainder of her pregnancy so the babies could be monitored on a daily basis and in hopes they would make it to 34 weeks. As Brandy would say she needed those babies cooking as long as possible.
On Sunday, March 1 Brandy and James packed up and moved into the hospital hoping and praying for the best. On Thursday March 5, Brandy's temperature spiked and had to undergo an emergency C-section due to an infection she and the babies had been fighting that made its way into her bloodstream, putting Dean, Waylon, and Brandy's lives at risk. Unfortunately Waylon Grey did not make it. Following the emergency C-section Brandy had to be admitted to ICU and little Dean was immediately stabilized, incubated, and admitted to NICU. Brandy's heart rate had a difficult time regulating itself and she still was spiking high fevers, eventually needing a blood transfusion. Finally 4 days after delivery and losing Waylon, Brandy was strong enough to go to the NICU to see her precious baby boy for the first time. Dean is still fighting the infection which leaves them with a lot of uncertainties of the days ahead.
We, Morgan Lucas, Danielle Tucker and Ashley Bookman, ask that you continue to Pray for all of them. Please pray for Dean to keep fighting this infection, get stronger every day and continue to overcome any obstacles that may come his way. Pray for Brandy and James to find strength to get them through the hard times they are facing.
