oly's malasadas continue to stay open
Donation protected
Hey there, as some of you may know, my name is Olivia and my family and I started and run oly’s malasadas. It’s taken me a long time to write this out and feel ok about writing it but I’ve decided it’s just time to get it all out there.
This started as a family passion project and still continues to be. However it has been quite hard to manage with having our other jobs, of course the current economy which we know a lot of other small business have been hurting, and a lot of personal changes going on at the same time. Unfortunately we have thought about closing. But I couldn’t help but feel selfish for just quitting so easily. It’s been very hard to muster up a little courage to ask for help.. so here we are reaching out to our great community of Olympia etc.
What we need is a little bit of financial help to catch up and re evaluate if staying open can work realistically. We plan to use any funds donated to rent, bills, taxes, employees, and supplies.
Yes from the outside we are doing great.. we love seeing you guys every weekend and making new friends and we enjoy making something good and seeing how happy it makes everyone. There isn’t anything as wholesome to us. But on the inside and back end, we are struggling so much. So please please consider supporting us through a donation or coming by the shop for a sweet treat on the weekends. Olympia, we hear you, see you, and love you. We want to keep serving you the most ono malasadas in town!
Mahalo/salamat for reading.
