I'm Taking on an Olympic-Length Triathlon – For Alby

I will be completing an Inter-Gym Olympic-Length Triathlon to raise money for a cause incredibly close to my heart.

Several years ago, my best friend’s son — and my godson — Alby, was devastatingly diagnosed with cancer. The heartbreak this has caused is unimaginable. But through it all, the strength, resilience, and determination shown by Alby and his family has been nothing short of inspiring.

As you can imagine, the emotional toll has been immense — but so too has the financial burden. Alby’s mam and dad have had to take continuous time off work and away from other commitments to support both Alby and the family. On top of that are the countless trips to and from the hospital and ongoing medical-related expenses, which continue to add up over the years.

This triathlon is not just a physical challenge — it's my way of standing in solidarity with Alby and his family and doing what I can to help relieve some of the pressure they continue to face.
