Oluwatoyin “Toyin” Salau Refuge House

Donation protected

Miss Salau was an extremely bright young lady, with the world on her shoulders. With a horrible home life situation, she still made it her mission to fight the good fight for equality for all, especially her black brothers and sisters. It’s so unfortunate that this has happened to this QUEEN.

This fundraiser is for start up costs for a refuge house in Miss Salau’s name. I will personally match every dollar donated. We as a community failed her, and must make it right in her name! We cannot have this happen again, our women need help.

The Big Bend area is infamously known as a transient area. It’s all too common to see young women roaming the streets. This campaign will light the flame needed to bring change and resources that are so desperately needed in the area. If the $10,000 dollar goal isn’t met, the proceeds will go to the current refuge houses in the Big Bend Area.

Oluwatoyin was 19... 19! She should have had a safe haven.
