OLSHA Pilgrimage to Rome

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy is offering our junior and senior students a once-in-a-lifetime experience to visit Rome! This pilgrimage provides an opportunity to encounter first-hand the wonders and history of the Catholic Church by visiting the glorious cities of Rome and Assisi.

To achieve their goal of visiting Rome, students are taking on the challenge of multiple fundraising opportunities - including bake sales, selling tickets for school movie nights, and other strategies to raise revenue for this pilgrimage. All funds raised will be used to aid teachers and students to attend this pilgrimage.

At Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy, our goal is to raise up a generation of students who will become joyful saints and succeed both academically and in virtue through an education in the Catholic tradition. As part of the Chesterton Schools Network that provides students the opportunity to receive a classical education, the pilgrimage to Rome provides a Capstone for student's studies that focus on the beauty and works of Western Civilization. What is first encountered in the classroom will be experienced first-hand on a life-changing pilgrimage to Rome!
