This morning, our sweet dog Ollie was hit by a car just outside our home. In an instant, everything changed.

Miraculously, Ollie didn’t suffer any broken bones, but the impact left him with life-threatening internal injuries. He went into shock and was rushed to the emergency animal hospital. There, we learned he has a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and internal bleeding, along with significant trauma to his lungs and liver.

Right now, Ollie is fighting hard under the care of a skilled veterinary team. He’s receiving oxygen therapy, pain management, and critical monitoring around the clock. The doctors are doing everything they can, and we’re holding onto hope that our brave boy will pull through.

We’re so grateful he’s still with us, but the medical costs are quickly adding up. Between emergency treatment, hospitalization, imaging, and ongoing care, we’re facing bills that far exceed what we ever expected or are prepared for.
