Ollie’s Ecuador Expedition
Donation protected
My name is Ollie and I’m a student at Richard Rose Central Academy in Carlisle. I am participating in an expedition to Ecuador in July 2025. This will be a 4 week expedition and will include community development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation. It will also include trekking the volcanic peaks of the Andean mountains surrounding Lake Mojanda.
The core objectives of the expedition are to-
• Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Ecuador.
• Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Ecuador.
• Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.
This expedition is extremely important to me because I feel that I will acquire and develop many important life skills such as leadership, independence, problem solving and team building. I’m excited to immerse myself within the local community, experience the South American culture.
I would be extremely grateful for any contributions towards my £5000 fundraising target.
Thank you in advance.
