Ollie Showed Up For Us, Let's Show Up For Him

With a heavy heart, Oliver ‘Ollie’ Jacobs passed away on 11/26/22.

He had been on vacation in Ghana with his family when he contracted malaria. He returned home unsuspecting. About a week later, Ollie developed a fever that never let up. Ollie fought hard like we all know he would but unfortunately went into organ failure & never was able to recover.

This fund is being organized by Ollie’s coworkers & friends to help care for Michelle (wife), Oliver Jacobs III, (son), Milan Morris (daughter), Embrezia Morris (daughter)

Ollie lived for other people. He got more satisfaction helping someone else than he ever did for himself. Ollie loved giving someone a skill set & watching them flourish. He was instrumental on the Sunrun team. He never once walked away from an opportunity to better someone else.

Ollie was built different. He was one of the most stand-up guys most of us had ever met & was able to make a friend out of anyone & always made sure that you felt special. Ollie was one of the most loyal friends you could ask for & you always knew that he had your back. Ollie was the sort of friend that we all dream of having.

Ollie was careful with his words & made sure that his intentions were communicated, but he wasn’t afraid to disagree. Everyone learned from Ollie; he had a unique outlook on the world & set out to make it a better place. We are all better people simply for knowing Ollie.

People remember those that made a difference; Ollie did & more.

Ollie made it different. We are all forever changed & will continue to reference his knowledge, lessons, thoughts, & character forever.

Ollie would be the first in line to help out any single one of our families.
