Olivia's memory will live in our hearts forever

Hi my name is Kimberly Cirillo,

As I sit here and write this I can't seem to find the words that will make any of this right but my heart aches with sorrow for my long time friend Evette Wyszynski and her entire family, From our days of prek till present, having kids together and sharing special occasions and life's trials and triumphs we share a special bond. In spring of 2022 the world shattered for her as her 18 year old beautiful daughter Olivia was diagnosed with stage 4 ewing sarcoma, which is an extremely rare childhood cancer that held a grim prognosis. From that point on the fight was on and Olivia went through test after test chemotherapy, radiation treatment, infections, fevers and many other life changing effects that cancer brings on. Through this all I texted every single day to my friend and gave her the courage and strength she needed to have hope and try to get through this. I sent silly videos to cheer Olivia up. I made tik toks to make her smile. I cried behind the texts I sent because I remember this little girl being born and I went to visit her in the hospital. Now she is struggling for her life! Things were hard and not one day did she give up.There were long days ahead of them and they spent days to weeks to get her well again for the next round of chemo. My friend and her husband couldn't work regularly and stayed with their daughter day in and day out. They fought together and they never lost hope as a family. I often looked at my own little problems and chalked it up to nothing "I Said God why are they suffering why is this happening? We will never know? Although they have 2 other children as well that needed them and they did a Terrific job juggling it all. Today I pour my heart out and ask for your support for Olivia's family. There are medical bills that have piled up, unexpected expenses that have added up and stuff that no parent needs to deal with. No Parent should ever have to go through this pain and sorrow. No parent should ever need to plan arrangements for their 19 year old child's funeral. Olivia was told in December her cancer was incurable and the pediatric department of Sloan Kettering did their very best for her and her family to make her comfortable in the last days of her life. With the support from family friends my friend's family will never forget their beautiful angel but they will forever be grateful for your sympathy, condolences and any help you can find in your heart to offer. From the bottom of my heart as it breaks for my friend I thank you in advance. The donations that are collected will help greatly and be disbursed accordingly as well as a donation to the Sloan Memorial Kettering pediatric unit will be given in the loving Memory of Olivia
