Olivia's Fight Against Sarcoma Cancer

Donation protected
Our 10 year old daughter, Olivia, was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Sarcoma cancer on 3/10/21.  I took her to the ER on 3/7 thinking she needed some antibiotics for a swollen jaw and were admitted that day after the CT scan found a large mass in her neck.   That night we had an MRI, biopsy the next day and the pathologists determined it was some sort of sarcoma cancer.  After a 2nd opinion at CHOP and 3rd opinion from the Mayo clinic they all came back as Undifferentiated with no subcategory.  Which means they don't really know what it is. Her tumor is surrounding her carotid artery and is currently not operable.  She is currently undergoing chemo treatments at Geisinger Medical Center at Danville, PA.   She finished her second chemo treatment on 4/16.

We are transferring to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to start radiation at the beginning of May.  We need to relocate to Philadelphia for seven weeks.  We also have a 7 year old daughter and don't want to leave her at home without us.  Because of COVID we are not eligible to stay at Ronal McDonald house or other provided residences because siblings are not allowed.  The only option we have is to rent an Airbnb or short term rental.  To be close to CHOP the options are very limited and very expensive.

She's a fighter and so are we!  We will do everything possible to get her the best care and best accommodations while she tackles this!!
