Hi there! My name is Tessa Lohr. As many of you may or may not know that my niece, Olivia, daugther of Nathan and Ashley Bengford, is up against a nasty infectious disease called Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Olivia noticed a spot on her leg last July. As she was treated for what was said a sprained ankle, which it turned out not to be that and was treated for MRSA. The spot never healed properly and last month, she noticed that the spot came back. Ashley took her to get it checked out again. She found out that the MRSA wasn't gone and that now it has went deeper into the bone. She is now going to have to undergo surgery, Thursday, June 16th, 2022 and will remain in the hospital for a few days after. The surgery is unknown of how it going to go at this point until the surgeon is able to get in there and see how severe it is. She then will have a long road ahead of her with extensive IV antibiotics after. This will require her and Ashley to travel an hour one-way everyday for weeks for that.
In today's world, we all know that gas prices aren't cheap. Please, let's help them out to help with the financial burden. Every little bit will help and is appreciated! Even if you can't donate, please share this and keep Olivia in your thoughts. I will update everyone once we know how surgery goes!
Thank you, Tessa
