Asking for help is the most difficult task for me, but without help in this situation, I will most likely not be able to prevail.
I am asking for help so that I can make the biggest step in my transition, reassignment surgery (srs,grs, etc.) the cost for this surgery is very overwhelming,(roughly 23k US or 18k in Thailand) but it is the most important number for me. It could take a decade to reach alone, but with a little help it may be in reach for me.
With the ever so rising cost of living in my dream city Portland, OR, has made it far too difficult to get ahead while paying out of pocket with constant and necessary expenses. Even with a great job that I am also leaving to go back to my home town of Reno,NV to live with my folks to try and make this a reality.
Hopefully sacrificing living in a progressive, accepting city for a not so progressive, conservative town is a chance to get ahead and will allow me to return someday.
