Hi, my name is Olivia Bajor. I’ve been diagnosed with stage II, HER2 breast cancer. This is an aggressive cancer, but response well to treatment. Over the next 18 months I will be treated with chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation.
After being diagnosed my doctors told me I have a 95% success rate, and for that, I am grateful. The doctors also told me my medical bills could cost over $30,000 . A woman in my support group introduced me to GoFundMe She said her campaign raised over $50,000 (and counting)!
I am grateful that this cancer is treatable and that I have am amazing family and friends to lean on, but I am concerned about my financial situation. I am an artist, photographer, and a part-time brand ambassador. During my treatment will not be able to keep my job. For this reason I am looking to raise money which will help pay my medical bills and living expenses.
The journey ahead will be hard, but I am counting on the kindness of others to help me. I know I’ll be able to push through this and be a stronger person in the end. Thank you all so much for your donations and for reading my story.
