This wonderful woman was a strong and brave person, admired by many. Her fast health decline caught us a little off guard and unprepared. You always think there is more time to be with your loved ones, sadly her time with us has come to an end.

With her tenacious nature as always, she clung on for as long as she could. Unfortunately her body, worn and weary from life, needed it’s eternal rest. At 12:00am on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, she made her final transition from this world.

She was always an amazing woman, mother and friend. She will be remembered most for her joyful and caring spirit. She lived a life full of laughter, love and celebration. No matter where she went, her magnetic energy and zest for life could be felt by any one she met. She never missed an opportunity to laugh, dance, sing, eat good food or to convince someone to have a shot of tequila with her. If anyone ever needed help, a cup of coffee, a listening ear, or a fabulous story, she was always the person to go to.

It is with a very heavy heart that her family is accepting donations to assist with her final expenses.

There are not many details available yet. What is known is that the town she called home only has two funeral homes, and due to the rising number of COVID related deaths in that area, mortuary services are overwhelmed and backed up. We are not sure what that will mean financially or schedule wise.
