Olivia & Poppy's Half Marathon Gower Peninsula Hike

Hello!

We are both final year undergraduate students at Swansea University. We wanted to take on a challenge this year while raising money for an amazing cause. We chose to raise money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support as cancer has personally impacted both our lives. Over recent years it has been highlighted that cancer is on the rise, it currently states that 1 in 2 people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. We aim to raise awareness of this to young people as with charities like Macmillan, people are able receive the support they need. Macmillan needs the donations to succeed in helping others.

We saw the Mighty Hikes as a great opportunity to push ourselves physically while enjoying the outdoors. We can't wait to see how much money we are able to raise! Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause as it means so much to us. Any amount of donation given would be appreciated.
