My name is Yani and I'm reaching out for support with my doggies Olivia's emergency life threatening Pyometra surgery. While on vacation with my son and doggies (it's just two of us). I woke up and noticed Olivia had pool of blood with lots of green puss underneath her entire body. We have immediately took her to VEG Emergency vet here in SD. They quoted us $1014 just to completely diagnose what they referred to as Pyometra, life threatening condition that needs immediate surgery. I had the presence of mind to walk out , we got charged $325 for exam and ultrasound. When they figured out I didn't have thousands of dollars we were pretty much dismissed without any care for my sick doggie.

While I was in tears in lobby of our hotel, someone recommended calling B Street Veterinary Hospital. When I called and told them what is happening even though they were extremely busy, they took Olivia right in and started caring for her while I'm trying to figure out the financial part. She is going to surgery in 20 minutes & I'm trying to figure out how to raise the money to pay for it.
