This beautiful girl is Olivia DeJong. She just turned 19 years old and is a freshman at Trinity Christian College.  She is the most amazing, kind-hearted, smart, talented, empathetic, caring, creative, free spirited, old- soul girl ever! 
Olivia has always had a heart for the marganizled. She has served in all capacities at her church since she was allowed, volunteered at hospital’s and has always purposely perused relationships with those that struggle to find them. She has an incredible voice and talent for singing and is looking at a career in music therapy to continue her mission of selflessly giving to others. I can’t truly say enough about this amazing young lady.  

This week Olivia discovered that she has a 1.5 inch diameter mass in her brain. Referred to as a Chordoma. It’s a tumor that is surrounded by and tangled in nerves making it the most challenging type of brain tumor to remove and treat. Steve, Michelle and Olivia are understandably shaken and overwhelmed. They are pursuing medical options for surgery and looking at facing this all within the next few weeks. 

Please lift Olivia and her family in prayer to give them the strength and peace that only God can provide to face this journey ahead of them.
