Hi all, family and friends! As you know, I am a 15-year-old sophomore at the New Mexico School for the Arts. This is my second year in the dance department there, and my third year dancing at the National Dance Institute (NDI), where I take a mix of classes including ballet and contemporary.
I auditioned for Ballet Chicago the first week of January and was lucky enough to get in! I am very excited to go this summer for five weeks from June 22 through July 23 to learn and grow immensely as a dancer.
Although I am very fortunate, Ballet Chicago comes with many expenses for flights, dorms, and the program itself. The total cost for the six days a week I'll be dancing, lodging and travel is $7,000. The registration and payment are due by February 15, 2020.
I am wondering if any of you could possibly contribute to these fees?
Any bit can help to be put towards this wonderful opportunity and experience. Your support and encouragement make all the difference in helping me pursue and achieve my goals.
