Olivia and her girls

Hi, my name is Olivia. I’ve tried to hold off on doing this as long as I could. Im not one to ask anyone for anything but I’m at a point where I desperately need the help. On June 21st, I was running and had fallen and broke my knee & tibia. When I got to the hospital I was informed that my body reacted in a rare way and I ended up with Acute Compartment Syndrome in my lower left leg. If you don’t know what that is, it’s where you’re muscles in your leg swell so bad that it cuts all circulation off and kills the muscles. An hour later after being at the hospital, I had to be taken into emergency surgery. Amputation was talked about but thankfully, because of my age.. it didn’t have to go that far. I had to have an external fixator to keep my leg straight and they had to cut the compartments in my muscle which left my calf muscles open on each side, 12 inch incision on the inside, and an 8 inch incision on the outside. These incisions had to be left open for 8 days until the swelling went down and they could be closed up. After 8 days, I went into a second surgery to close up the incisions and removed the fixator. I had to have to plates and 12 screws to replace my Tibia. Because of the fixator and my leg being straight, I’ve suffered from nerve damage and have to learn how to walk again. Due to that I am unable to work. I am the sole provider for my daughters and I’m getting behind on my bills. I’m facing an eviction. The government is no help, and I don’t have any family to turn to and ask for help so if you can find it in your heart to donate so I can keep me and my daughters home, I would greatly appreciate it! I know we all go through the seasons of life and it isn’t easy but even a share would mean the world to me and my girls!
