Olive’s PDA surgery

Hi everyone we are Katie, Karen, and Olive. Our puppy Olive was diagnosed with congenital heart disease (PDA). She is a 4 month old rescue pup we adopted from Texas! Olive is the happiest puppy ever and deserves a chance at a nice long life! We adopted her without knowing she had PDA and thankfully our Veterinarian caught it right away and off to the cardiologist we went. She had an echocardiogram done which showed a small hole in her heart that was supposed to close while she was in her Moms uterus but never did. Olive also has little deformities in her legs and without them growing some more we will have to do a more invasive surgery by opening up her rib cage but if her little legs grow then we can do a less invasive surgery through her artery in her leg and have a mushroom plug put in to close the hole allowing her to live a happy and healthy doggie life with her brother Kyle! We understand times are hard for everyone right now but we are looking for as much help as possible to give Olive a chance at happy puppy life.
