Help Oliver Recover After Emergency Life-Saving Surgery

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a really heavy heart to ask for help. This past Sunday night, our sweet Great Pyrenees Oliver had to undergo emergency surgery after experiencing a life-threatening condition known as gastric torsion (also called bloat). His stomach twisted, cutting off blood flow and causing immense pain. To save his life, the veterinary team had to act quickly and also ended up removing his spleen during the procedure.

It was a terrifying experience, but thanks to the incredible care he received, Oliver made it through surgery and is now in the recovery process. Things are still not completely certain with what his outcome might be, he’s still at the hospital fighting. He’s a strong boy, but this has taken a huge toll on both his body and the financial resources needed to keep up with his care.

Veterinary emergencies like I’m sure many know are expensive, and the costs for Oliver's surgery, hospitalization, medications, and ongoing monitoring have added up extremely quickly. We’re doing everything we can to give Oliver the care he needs, but definitely can’t do it alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to covering his medical expenses and ensuring he gets the best possible recovery.
