Hi! My name is Melissa. Our community bar, Oliver’s Old Towne Tavern in Laurel was recently shut down due to the recent drop in temperatures, causing pipes to burst and leaving the staff unemployed right after the holidays. The owner, Lenny, is doing all he can to get the place back up and running ASAP but the staff could use some financial assistance until they are up and running again. My husband and I love Oliver’s and the staff. We were married during COVID and were searching for a venue that would work with us. After being turned down from many establishments, Lenny and Pam said yes, we will make it happen. Oliver’s staff has always treated us like family, so we want to take care of them.
