Oliver's Help Fund

Donation protected

Our son Oliver was born on 7.30.21 when I was only 36w pregnant; I had woken up bleeding and was rushed by ambulance to the hospital where we quickly met Ollie. Soon after he was born he was struggling with his sugar levels and was taken down to the NICU however things quickly got worse when his kidneys were not working, his BP was very low and he was unable to form clots causing him to actively bleed and he needed a transfusion, more IVs and medicines and he had to stop feeding as well because he was not expressing any urine. He was then transferred in the middle of the night last night (7.31.21@11pm) to Cleveland Clinics Main Campus NICU where things got much worse. Upon arrival he was bleeding from his stomach out through his nose and mouth and his kidneys were still not functioning at all so they gave him another transfusion and added another line in for extra medicines. I have not heard news since (8.1.21 @4am) but they were talking about sending him into surgery to get a central line in if things get worse.

We have started this fundraiser, if anyone is able to help, so that my husband and I can continue to go to the main campus (which is 30 minutes away from where we live). We would put the funds towards fuel, parking fees, eating while we're there and anything that Ollie would need if hes eventually discharged as well as anything I need through my post partum recovery.

We pray he gets better soon but for now he in the best place for him with incredible doctors and nurses taking care of him and doing everything that they can. We don't have a specific goal but any donation is a big help towards us being able to be with our son Oliver and taking care of our family as we also have 2 kids, 5y&3y old. Thank you all for taking a moment to read our story and we are so thankful for everyone whos been praying and supporting us through this impossibly difficult situation.

We will keep updating as we hear more, we have yet to visit him at main campus as I was still in the hospital but I have been discharged today and we will be going to see him in a few minutes. Below we have attached some photos of Oliver; he is such a little Warrior!
