Oliver's Fund to go to WSJ Korea 2023

I'm Oliver, I'm 13 and I live in Romford, Greater London. I have been selected to attend the 2023 World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. It’s an incredible opportunity for me.

The World Scout Jamboree has been running for over 100 years with the first one being hosted in England in 1920.  

 

In order to go, I have to fundraise £3,800 to pay for the trip. Because the Scout Association believes that cost should never be a barrier to success, the fee also helps to pay towards the cost of the trip for underprivileged young people in the UK and abroad to attend the Jamboree.

There will be three parts to the trip:  a stay with a South Korean youth group, the Jamboree itself in SaeManGeum where there will be some 50,000 Scouts from around the world and a short stay in a city to do some sightseeing and learn more about the South Korean culture.

Over the next year and a half, I'll be fundraising through various activities and events and I would love to have your support.
