Hey friends. I hate making a request like this.
After several planned and unplanned home expenses throughout the year, we're left struggling both financially and emotionally. 2025 was not yet done with us yet, however, and our year is concluding with devastating news.
On November 4th, our cat Oliver ended up in the emergency vet. After an expensive surgery and biopsy, he was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma. He’s also FIV+, and while we’ll know more about treatment and prognosis in the coming days, we're pragmatic enough to know that's not a good combination.
We don’t regret a single penny spent on him. Our cats are our family, and we want Oliver to have the best quality of life for whatever time he has left.
We know the holiday season is upon us, and this year has already been a burden on so many others we love and care about, but if you happen to have anything to spare, we would be so, so appreciative of any help.
If donating isn’t possible, sharing this means more than you know.
Thank you for reading, and for helping us give Oliver and our family a little more peace in the time he has.
