Oliver the Jack Russell's Recovery
Donation protected

Oliver is a happy, vibrant, cuddly Jack Russell. He loves playing fetch, eating treats and spooning. Oliver loves his humans, his 2 brothers Dexter and Dank, and his sister Venus.
On March 19, Oliver was rushed into emergency surgery to save his life. Oliver's airway was almost completely swollen shut. His airway was so compromised, the vet knew she only had moments to save his precious life. Our local vet performed and emergency tracheostomy (making an incision in the trachea and inserting a tube) in order to help Oliver breathe. Although this was only her second tracheostomy ever, she was successful and Oliver was able to pull through the surgery.

Oliver is currently under 24 hour care in the ICU of the local animal hospital. He is still in critical condition. All of us are hoping that the swelling subsides and Oliver will be able to return home and continue his recovery in the loving arms of his humans.
I am asking, from the deepest parts of my heart, that you animal lovers out there find it in your hearts to help with the enormity of the medical expenses that I will now be left with. I would be willing to spend millions if it meant saving my beloved pets' life. Although I wish I were a millionaire, I am quite the opposite. I am a poor college nursing school student struggling to even have enough money for gas each week.

Whether you are able to donate $1 or $10, every single bit will be an absolute blessing to me. If you are unable to donate any money, I just ask that you share this on your timelines so that someone may see it and possibly contribute. I am humbly asking family, friends and strangers alike to find it within yourselfs to help my beautiful baby "son" Oliver and his worried mom.
