Oliver needs our help!

On Friday, Oliver fell ill and his body went into anaphylactic shock. The cause is unknown what happened. Perhaps a bee sting, bug bite, we don’t know. He was rushed to the vet. His blood pressure and heart rate were critically low. The vet started him on IV fluids, steroids, Benadryl, calcium channel blockers.

He was responding well and even ate breakfast for them this morning. They discharged him home at 930am. Plan of care was to continue high doses of Benadryl for 1 week.

After being home only a couple hours, Oliver became lethargic and was drooling. He was rushed back to the vet. His Ph was dropping again. Another abdominal X-ray was done and this time showed extremely enlarged bowl filled with air. They said it may be gut shock syndrome. He was readmitted and his Ph is dropping and lactate is increasing. He is on high doses of antibiotics and fluids.

Oliver is very critical and needs to get well to celebrate his 2nd birthday on May 16th! Please pray for Oliver’s recovery and consider donating to help him recover.
