Sadly we lost our beautiful little man Oliver, born sleeping 21st Feburary 2025, due to complications during pregnancy around our 20 week scan.

At Southmead the midwives and consultants were amazing and we were given access to the Maple Suite to start our grieving process. This room is entirely funded through charity donations as part of the Southmead Maternity Services charity. As these fund are part of a larger pot we would like to personally direct it towards these special rooms in general.

Currently they only have one of these rooms that can be used at a time, as a result some parents don't get to share in the same experiences we did.

We cannot thank them enough for the comfort they gave us given the circumstances. This donation will help the maternity ward to fund this room and also future rooms they hope to renovate for the same use.
