Hello my name is Sally & myself & my fiance Daniel out in Romania may often be miles apart but we have one common goal... the rescue & love of dogs. We have a small private shelter & over the last four years we have rescued hundreds of abused, sick & abandoned street dogs that UK charities have been able to rehome in the UK & throughout Europe. I work to support our lives... we earn no money for this, we do it because we adore dogs, we cannot turn a blind eye to the what can only be described as canine chaos out here .

This week we met our toughest challenge yet... we found a beautiful white young labrador mix in a gully at the side of the road. At first we thought he had been hit by a car but a trip to the vets in the city sadly confirmed that his head wound & fracture of T13 to his spine had been caused by blunt trauma... he has very likely been beaten. Sadly the misery does not end here... this break to his spine means his back to legs no longer walk or feel pain... he is now incontinent. But what he isn't is ready to give up on life. Seemingly he sat in that gully in the blistering heat, ignored by all, for two days until we found him... but still on finding him he has shown us nothing but happiness & love

We have called him Oliver-Chance & he has had the absolute good fortune through me promoting his heartbreaking plight to be offered a forever home with a lady in the UK who has years of experience with dogs, who loves woofs with her whole heart... who will give him the 24/7 care he needs... she will give him the life that somebody horrifically tried to take for him .

For the first time ever I am turning to Gofundme as you don't have to be rich to care & ourselves & the lady just do not have the funds to make this happen. We need to finish paying for Olivers care in the Romanian vets to heal his wounds & neuter him, prepare him for travel, transport him to the UK & ultimately set him up with some wheels & a specially adapted room & garden area so that he can not just exist... but truly live.

Please if you love dogs like we do i hope you will consider offering what you can to make Olivers dreams come true. He is a beautiful soul whose head never went down, never gave up while he lay at the side of that road... please help us reward that belief in life, that will he is showing to go on despite all he has been subjected to...to be rewarded with the gift of life ♥️
