We cannot express our appreciation enough for all of the love and support that has been flooding our way since the surprise birth of our son Oliver James Franklin on December 10th. He came into this world at 7:57 pm at only 22 weeks and 1 day. Thanks to the incredible team of doctors and nurses here at the Duke University Hospital NICU, he is going strong and making great progress every day. Without their help we would not be able to celebrate his progress with you through these daily updates. There is going to be a long road ahead and we can only begin to conceive just how costly and full of obstacles it's going to be. Our babies are going to need special care and extra attention in order to meet the challenges and come home strong and healthy. To that end, we have stared this GoFundMe as an answer to all of the requests for ways people can help and support us. If you feel led by the spirit to do so then we thank you. But we ask that you only give what you feel comfortable doing. And if your prayers is all you can give then we will happy take that with full and grateful hearts.
