Oliver entered the world 6 weeks early. This was cause for a 17 day NICU stay where he was able to grow stronger and healthier. He was diagnosed with a milk allergy and severe acid reflux which continued his doctor visits but he has been thriving and is now a sweet 6 month old boy. During this time Derek (Oliver's father) has been facing his own medical journey, he has been searching for a diagnoses for his high thyroid numbers and unusual health symptoms. It has finally caused them to seek advisement from the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.
