In Loving Memory of Oliver Adebayo — Supporting His Family

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Mr Oliver Adebayo, following a long illness.

Oliver was an Orthopaedic Surgical (ST8) registrar, former President of the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association, and a National Medical Director’s Fellow. He was widely respected not only for his leadership and intellect, but for something far rarer — his humility, kindness, and unwavering commitment to serving others.

Those who knew Oliver will remember his quiet strength, his generosity of spirit, and the way he made time for people even while facing immense personal challenges. He led with compassion, never seeking recognition, and always putting others first.

Above all, Oliver was a devoted husband and father.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Bernadine and their 5-year-old son Elijah, who now face an unimaginably difficult road ahead.
