Save Olive: Surgery for Abscess

Hi everyone,

My sweet girl Olive is an 11 year old Pug and my best friend. Within the last several years she’s been suffering from a possible tooth root abscess on and off. We’ve been to an emergency vet on more than one occasion and had a consultation with them. They’ve determined that the abscess has spread to her neck and she would need surgery to remedy the situation. It terrifies me to have to put my sweet Olive under anesthesia for surgery since she’s a brachycephalic breed and over the age of 10, but I know it would help her immensely. We have been constantly visiting our regular vet for antibiotics and other medications because it’s been so hard to save up the money for her surgery. My family would greatly appreciate any help we could get. Thank you and may God bless you
