To help Olive have her wonky leg straightened

Hello I'm Clare and I'm fundraising for Olive my Spanish rescue dog to have her misshapen leg mended.

Olive was found with an old break to her front legged which had healed in the wrong position. In Spain it was felt that nothing could be done.

On arrival to the UK the severity of it became apparent and the angle / deformity was worse than anticipated. Olive is lame on her bad leg.

Olive can live with it how she is if she has very reduced walks however, she is a young playful dog so she would miss out on so much. Also she will develop severe arthritis which may lead to the leg having to be removed.

Having sought opinions from an orthopaedic vet, there is something that can be done.

Initially we were told treatment would cost anything between £5000 - £10,000. By some absolute miracle and the kind heart of a veterinary hospital director who sympathised with the plight of dear Olive we have been offered the surgery for £1500!!

This would fix her poor floppy sock / banana leg and by the new year Olive will be able to live her best life.

We really hope the amount can be raised and I would be so grateful of every £1 donated.
