Hi, my name is Maggie and I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my sister and her beloved 1-year-old rescue corgi, Oli.
Oli has only been in our lives since January, but in that short time, he has completely stolen our hearts. He just celebrated his first birthday on June 3rd, and it’s hard to believe how much he already means to us. My sister has given Oli a loving home and has always been dedicated to his well-being, taking on significant medical costs for his neutering and cherry eye surgery earlier this year.
Yesterday, Oli was rushed to the animal hospital and admitted overnight after showing serious symptoms. He’s currently on IVs and has undergone multiple diagnostics, including X-rays, a spinal tap, and an MRI. His medical team believes Oli may have an autoimmune condition, which will require ongoing treatment and careful management throughout his life.
While my sister is fully committed to ensuring Oli receives the best care possible, the unexpected medical expenses have been substantial, exceeding $7,500 already. Oli is her everything, her whole world, and she has been handling everything with strength and determination, but as the medical costs continue to add up — and more treatments ahead — any support would help lighten the financial load during this challenging time, allowing her to focus on being there for him.
This fundraiser is to help alleviate the financial strain of Oli’s medical care, so she can focus on what matters most—being there for him during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, would go a long way in supporting her and Oli. If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this with others would be a tremendous help.
How You Can Help:
* Donate any amount you can.
* Share this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks.
Thank You:
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading Oli’s story. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express. Together, we can help alleviate this burden and ensure Oli gets the care he needs to recover and thrive
