His name is Olin and he’s a disabled Veteran. He’s been clean and sober for 3.5 years and was trying to get to Texas to bury his last surviving relative, his brother…

We spoke about what landed him on the streets and what I learned was heartbreaking… While serving his Country he lost his leg, he was honorably discharged and his benefits are only $1360/month. He was only granted a 60% disability.

Last month his housing went for $1100 to $1350, and he couldn’t afford it. He had to move out the 10th of this month and has been sleeping on the streets since…

I have created this fund raiser to get him to Texas and hopefully provide a little bit of a cushion for his travels. He is literally traveling with what he has on
