¡Hola! Nosotros somos las alumnas y los alumnos de Primaria y Secundaria de la Escuela Libre Lîlâ K'erendarhu en Querétaro, México. Desde hace casi tres años comenzamos a tomar clases de canto en nuestra escuela, con el objetivo de integrar junto con otras escuelas la primera agrupación coral de nuestra ciudad. Es muy importante socializar a través de la belleza. Por ello con mucho entusiasmo nos hemos dedicado a nuestras clases de canto y música, aprendiendo mucho y fortaleciéndonos anímicamente.

El profesor José Rocha ha sido el encargado de ensamblar y dirigir a este Coro, conformándose así el Coro Infantil y Juvenil Sinfónico de Querétaro (CIJS). A lo largo de este camino han sido gran cantidad de horas de clases, ensayos, presentaciones y conciertos. Hemos tenido oportunidad de presentar diferentes repertorios como Carmina Burana, los Beatles, música latinoamericana, rock clásico, Cri Cri, villancicos navideños, entre otros.

Estamos listos para dar el siguiente paso y llevar nuestras voces a las Olimpiadas Internacionales de Coro (World Choir Games) con sede en Helsingborg. Es una oportunidad única en la vida y un reto muy grande, por eso necesitamos de tu ayuda. Queremos que nos acompañes en este proceso de gran aprendizaje educativo y compartir contigo la experiencia de participar junto a muchas otras voces de diferentes lugares del mundo. Será una experiencia muy valiosa, enriquecedora y potente, al reunirnos con personas de una gran diversidad de culturas que expresan mediante la música el corazón y alma de su legado musical en contraposición del clima de conflicto y crisis mundial.

Durante el encuentro vamos a tener la oportunidad de ver y apreciar técnicamente a los mejores coros del mundo de diferentes categorías y aprender de ellos.

Uno de los mayores retos financieros es lograr la participación de todos, las niñas y niños de la escuela junto a dos de nuestras maestras. Al respaldar nuestro proyecto, no sólo nos brindas la oportunidad de participar en las olimpiadas, sino que también apoyas a la única formación coral infantil-juvenil que existe en nuestra ciudad y seguir impulsando a que las niñas y los niños crezcamos en el ámbito musical.

Nuestra agrupación coral es un ejemplo de como la música contribuye al desarrollo de las niñeces y la importancia de la música como medio de vinculación y conexión humana. Tu apoyo es fundamental para que esta propuesta coral siga creciendo y que la música siga siendo un pilar principal en la educación para la paz.

Hello! We are the Primary and Secondary students of the Lîlâ K'erendarhu Free School in Querétaro, Mexico.

Almost three years ago we began taking singing classes at our school, with the aim of integrating, together with other schools, the first choral group in our city. At our ages it is very important to socialize through beauty. For this reason, with great enthusiasm we have dedicated ourselves to our singing and music classes, learning a lot and strengthening ourselves emotionally.

Professor José Rocha has been in charge of assembling and directing this Choir, thus forming the Querétaro Symphonic Children and Youth Choir (CIJS). Along this path there have been many hours of classes, rehearsals, presentations and concerts. We have had the opportunity to present different repertoires such as Carmina Burana, the Beatles, Latin American music, classic rock, Cri Cri, Christmas carols, among others.

We are ready to take the next step and bring our voices to the International Choir Olympics (World Choir Games) based in Helsingborg. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a very big challenge, that is why we need your help. We want you to join us in this process of great educational learning and share with you the experience of participating alongside many other voices from different places around the world. It will be a very valuable, enriching and powerful experience, as we meet with people from a great diversity of cultures who express through music the heart and soul of their musical legacy in contrast to the climate of conflict and global crisis.

During the meeting we will have the opportunity to see and technically appreciate the best choirs in the world from different categories and learn from them.

One of the biggest financial challenges is achieving the participation of all the girls and boys in the school along with two of our teachers. By supporting our project, you not only give us the opportunity to participate in the Olympics, but you also support the only children's and youth choir formation that exists in our city and continue encouraging girls and boys to grow in the musical field.

Our choral group is an example of how music contributes to the development of childhood and the importance of music as a means of human connection. Your support is essential for this choral proposal to continue growing and for music to continue being a main pillar in peace education.
