Ollileen Edison was my beloved aunt that passed away unexpectedly yesterday morning on 9/14/2025.

In my eyes, she was one of the strongest women I’ve ever known. She always told me stories of when I was just a toddler and would carry me over back while picking tomatoes in the fields. She would always add that I was “snug as bug” and taking a nap while she sweated her tail off too!!

See, she was strong!!

She later became a truck driver and met her husband of over 30 years, Greg Edison. They partnered up on the truck and drove all over the country for many years.

Eventually, Aunt Leen had to come off the road due to health issues and they continuous declined to far worse with this past year being the most difficult for her and Greg both.

Aunt Leen was a diabetic that was diagnosed with breast cancer, suffered broken back injuries, congestive heart failure and most devastatingly, an aortic aneurysm which claimed her life.

Uncle Greg has had his own recent battles with prostate and skin cancer, so needless to say, the medical bills have been outstanding.

Due to the extreme financial struggles, life insurance had to be put aside in order for them to simply stay afloat day to day.

I am asking for help to not only have a memorial service for my aunt, but to have funds to fill her final wishes for her earthy remains as well.

I am hopeful that each of you can find a place in your heart to help me and my family give my Aunt Leen a proper departure and a celebration, as we say our “goodbye for now”.
