Olga's eye surgery!

Dear friends,

Our wonderful cook Olga here at the orphanage has gone blind in one eye. She suddenly and completely lost sight in her left eye a few months ago. It was intensely stressful and emotional for her, as well as for all of us as witnesses and friends. She is now back at work after that intense ordeal and continues to cook delicious and loving meals every day, even with sight in one eye.

And now, Glory be to God, a miracle has occurred! After many doctor visits it has been confirmed that with a simple but costly surgery, she can regain sight in her eye! The surgery is a retina transplant. Amazing. The surgery will cost about 5,000 USD which is completely out of the realm of possibility for someone with a middle-lower class income in Tijuana, Mexico. So we want to join together to contribute the funds for this dear friend and integral member of the orphanage staff and community.
