They are hungry. They are trapped. But we can still reach them.

For the last couple of months, long before the plight of Oleshky began appearing on television, V-Aid has been working with contacts and authorities in the Kherson region to help get food to civilians trapped inside the occupied city.

Because conventional aid cannot simply be driven in, supplies are being flown into Oleshky by drone.

That is why we have been making our purposely designed, ultra-lightweight emergency meals — food that can be carried in large numbers and prepared with very little.

In November, we will take our first major delivery to Ukraine: thousands of emergency meals, lightweight snacks, and nutritious dehydrated vegetables and fruits that can be used to make meals and soups, together with emergency candles and other essential aid.

We already have willing volunteers and wonderful community groups making the food. We have vehicles donated through the Police and Crime Commissioners in Wales, and volunteer drivers ready to take them across Europe.

What we need now is simple: more money to make more meals and get this aid where it is desperately needed.

£10 can help us make around 50 emergency meals, or help towards getting the vehicles and aid out to Kherson, ready for onward delivery and drone flights into Oleshky.

Every donation helps.

The more we raise, the more food we can make — and the more people we can reach.

For the next two weeks, please help us make as much food as possible before the convoy leaves.

Help us get food to Oleshky.

Food Today, Not Tomorrow.

Please donate. Please share.
