Sasha was a very close friend of mine who sacrificed his life while protecting Ukraine. He was living in Los Angeles with his family, but when the war started he could not stay behind, feeling obligated to stand beside his best friends on the front line. He was one of the most positive people I have known and we are all very devasted about this loss. Sasha died near Bakhmut on the morning of December 20th. He is a hero and will never be forgotten.

I am starting this fundraiser to support his family - his wife Dina, and his 11-year-old son, Alex – during these terrible times. I have received a lot of calls and messages from people wanting to help and the least we can do is minimize financial stress and provide some comfort in the midst of this tragedy.
