Ole South Diner

For the last 12 years Wayne and Lori have been at Ole South Diner, Monday through Saturday. If you've never had the blackened catfish and Cajun rice, you are truly missing out!! Their PASSION has been to serve and befriend the people of West Monroe and surrounding areas, I mean what other diner do you know that gives you FREE dessert? And it's been more than just cooking, they've used the diner as a way to help some of their workers restart their lives, they've catered to the elderly, they feed our National Guard on a monthly basis, they've made the diner a community gathering that has had so many faithful customers for so many years. This morning, the diner caught on fire and the kitchen suffered a major loss.  Unbeknownst to them, the building they leased was not insured by the owner. While they are working to salvage every item they can, there was no insurance, and a costly amount of appliances will have to be replaced. ANY amount helps, whether it's sent through this site, sending it through PayPal Friends and Family (no fees taken out this way) and many many prayers are certainly appreciated. This was their only source of income and will take some time to rebuild. They are already anxious to get back running. THANK YOU for any contribution, money or/and prayers, hope to see you soon, and get some free cake!!
