A check of mine was fished out of a street mailbox and forged to rob me of $1,520.00  I am 83 years old and live on a fixed income that is very small, so I was slowly going broke anyway.  I filed a police report, and the police tell me I will get my money back from Chase Bank, but it's been over a month, and I didn't get it yet.  Chase tells me they are conducting an investigation.  I am a Pulitzer Prize nominated playwright (The Brig, 1963), and I have written many other plays which have been published and produced around the world in 9 languages.  You can look me up on the internet.  I have been advised to let you know that I am a US Marine Corps veteran and that, in the last year and a half, I have survived surgery for colon and kidney cancer and the ensuing chemo therapy at the VA  hospital.
