Old Hales Access Lift

The Old Halesonians Association is a non-profit making organisation providing rugby, touch rugby, cricket, hockey and bowls to all genders and age groups.

During the pandemic we successfully used this platform to raise enough funds to maintain our pitches ready for the use of our members once lockdown was lifted.

We want to encourage as many local people as possible to make use of our facilities and to that end, we realise that having our bar and function room on the first floor can make access difficult, if not impossible, for many in our community. We plan to install a lift so everyone can access the upstairs and a toilet that is easily accessible by those using a wheelchair.

Also, we are hopeful that Sport England will make a contribution to this but this is based on what we can raise through this initiative. All contributions are welcome, however small. Many thanks on behalf of the OHA.
