Old Bridge Elementary Drumline Goes To Indy!

The Old Bridge Elementary Drumline travels to Indianapolis, IN for a first-ever international performance event! 


The Old Bridge Elementary Drumline  is an after-school program that consists of 5th grade percussion students from all of the elementary schools in the Old Bridge School District  (Old Bridge, NJ).  They are going on an unprecedented trip, for an unprecedented performance, from August 7-11th this summer.  

They will fly to Indianapolis, where they will compete in the DrumLine Battle World Championships.  The event is part of the SoundSport International Food and Music Festival , which is part of a week long event that makes up the Drum Corps International World Championships .  



What makes this even more special is the fact that they are the only group with young students (10-11 years old).  The groups they will be competing against will be primarily 16-21 years old!  This event has never seen such a young group perform before, and this is the youngest group in the Old Bridge School District to take such a trip. 

This fundraiser will provide the means to provide our students with crucial items to make sure they represent themselves, and our schools, in the most professional manner possible.  These items include drumsticks, drumheads, uniforms, and instrument repair.  We are in need of assistance to provide these deserving students with the means to look and sound their best.
