*UPDATE* Unfortunately Olaf has passed away. We are still hoping to raise more funding for his hospitalisation costs, and beak and feather disease testing. Thank you for everyone's support during this incredibly hard time for our family.

Hi, Im fundraising for my beloved budgie, Olaf, who has been struggling with a respiratory infection these past 2 months.

He has been through multiple vet visits, multiple medications, and has now been hospitalised for the second time.

Olaf's will to live is undisputed - he tries to push through anything that comes his way.

With every treatment we have seen improvement initially and deterioration towards the end of the course.

At his current state, we are unable to put him through sedation for xrays and further testing as there is a risk he won't survive.

I am hoping to raise enough to cover the costs of his hospitalisation, so that we can stabilise him enough for testing.

Olaf is only 4 years old. He was the smallest in the clutch and the last to find a home initially, but he has found his forever home with us and we can not bear to let him go when he has so much more love left to give and receive and he has been fighting for so long.

Olaf is a part of our family of four birds - in total we have 2 budgies and 2 cockatiels, all of which are very attached to him and would be very sad to see him go.

We have been told there is a possibility Olaf could be suffering from Beak and Feather Disease, however testing for it is a very strenuous process. We are hoping he pulls through his respiratory distress, but if not then we are hoping to raise money for the test itself which is £170, should he pass away.

Our current veterinary costs have amounted to £940 this past month and we are struggling to gather more funds.
