Help Olaf’s Last Wish Come True – A Final Journey to the U.S

Our father, Olaf Moens, was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer last year.

Sadly, the tumor cannot be removed, and the cancer has already spread to his liver and lungs.

His current treatment is slowing down the process, but this is all that can be done.

After a lifetime of caring for others, he's now facing the harsh reality that his time is limited.

One of his lifelong dreams has always been to visit the United States — something he always said he’d do “one day.” But with cancer advancing and treatments in the Netherlands no longer helping, that “one day” is quickly turning into “never.”

We want to change that.

We’re raising €15,000 to fulfill Olaf’s last wish: a dream road trip along the U.S. East Coast with his 3 children.

Even with a lesser amount we will make this trip come true!

See the big city and beautiful nature, do some sightseeing, visit the theme and water parks, and taste everything America has to offer.

This trip would be more than a vacation — it would be a final adventure, a chance for us to make lifelong memories with a man who has given everything for his family.

Olaf grew up in a humble coal mining family, worked hard his entire life after earning his MTS diploma, and always made sure we had what we needed — even if he went without. We were never rich, but we always felt loved and supported.

He’s the kind of person who would pick you up at 2AM if your car broke down, who listens without judgment, who never stopped being curious, kind, and full of dad jokes — even during chemo.

We don’t have the financial means ourselves to make all of this happen.

We are setting aside some money ourselves, but that won't cover the total expenses for the trip he deserves.
