Local Mom to give kidney to another

Local Mother from Duncan, B.C. is a living kidney donor match.  She needs your help with expenses while she helps make another local Moms dream come true.  Tanya Hashimoto is donating a kidney to another local Mom on May 4th, 2015.  It has been a long wait for Audrey to find a match and FINALLY the news is in ~ Tanya is the chosen one! 

I met Audrey in August 2014 and her story was shared locally among many of us in hopes someone could help her. There had to be SOMEONE that could be a match.  Tanya stepped up and wanted to help.  She hoped she could be a match and give Audrey her life back.  When Tanya first read about Audrey's story she thought about how that could be her needing help.  They had similarities with their age, both being gingers, and having many daughters.  Tanya started the testing (the numerous tests!) in August 2014.  When she finally met Audrey for the first time there was an immediate connection. They both had their hair braided on the same side, had purple plaid shirts on, jeans and black boots.  Tanya knew this was meant to be. She had to do this.  It would be her that would have the honour of giving Audrey her life back.

Please help us help Tanya with (at the very least) her costs associated with the trip to the mainland and the expenses she will incur during her stay over there.  On top of the expenses she will be off of work during her recovery period from the surgery.  I would love to see her not have to worry about finances while she selflessly gives this gift to help another Mother in our community.
