We are the Okiniwak Youth-led movement. We are raising donations to help support our efforts in creating a platform for Indigenous youth to share their voice to the world. We are the 7th fire, although sparked into action by the ominous legislations threatening First Nation, Métis and Inuit rights, treaties and sovereignty, we reach for more. We want true equity, equality and environmentally friendly stewardship. We are people who have inhabited these lands since time immemorial, and the sacred duty to protect it has been passed for generations, through ceremony, blood and spirit. It is our goal to not only have our rights, people, and land respected, but as well as the rights, people, and land of the world protected as well.
