Okiedokie was a good dog & a dear friend

Hi my name is Anna Louise (Loua)

My sweet dog Okiedokie was such a fun loving, well behaved, and genuinely gentle girl. She trusted me when I introduced her to camping and eventually learned to swim and love the water. She would bark and play with excitement for anyone to throw balls and sticks into the water for her to retrieve. She was so happy to play fetch and run along the beach!

A month ago she started having health problems. She refused to eat anything and at times wouldn’t even drink. To anyone who has met her, this statement is shocking because Okiedokie was a lovable chOnky girl. Food was her favorite.

We tried to get diagnostics done and found infections, and GI issues, possible pancreatic problems, slightly off blood work, but no real answers.

Then she started having seizures.

Sweet Okie, did not last long after that.

I had to realize the heartbreaking truth, all dogs go to heaven.

As her human, I tried everything in my power to help her, but all I am left with is a lot of debt and a painfully broken heart.

To say I will miss Okie is such an understatement. Words cannot express how special she was, or how deeply her absence hurts.

Any amount you can contribute to ease the burden of debt while I grieve my lost friend, Okiedokie, helps tremendously.
